Each year at IANZ we celebrate outstanding achievement in our group. We recognise both individuals and companies that have exceed expectations and we acknowledge our insurer partners and the value they bring to our network. The awards are voted on by our 56 practices, and are awarded based on feedback from the network, so everyone has a say!

We are delighted to announce the following winners in 2020:

Hero’s Award – Jennifer Woodman
One of our newer team members, Jennifer has added real and measurable value. Her claims knowledge and expertise is highly respected by the industry and is a clear differentiator when clients need it most.

Insurance Person of the Year – Andrew Beaton, Delta Insurance
Andrew has consistently gone out of his way to help and support our brokers, and genuinely looks for solutions to assist with the placement of business. At the same time he has managed to set up and grow his own business, making an outstanding contribution to the network.

Insurer of the Year – ANDO Insurance
Despite what has been a challenging year, ANDO Insurance has continued to offer not only exceptional service but also invested personal time in building relationships with our brokers and their staff.  

Emerging Broker of the Year – Navigate Insurance
Navigate Insurance is recognised as this year’s emerging talent in the network, having been with us for under 2 years and achieving impressive growth and strong feedback.  Well done Sophie and Elliott!

Chairman’s Award - Jeanette Penberthy
Congratulations to Jeanette who has made an outstanding contribution to our network this year. Not only has she been a cornerstone of Penberthy Insurance, she has been an integral part of IANZ by developing systems improvements in iBroker and compliance requirements for the new FMA legislation next year. She’s forthright, offers constructive and practical solutions, and we appreciate her honesty, loyalty and passion. Great work Jeanette!

Broker of the Year - Insure Hawkes Bay
Insure Hawkes Bay have taken the premier award this year. It recognises their overall excellence in growth, debtors and best practice, as well as impressive feedback on compliance, learning and development, accounts and helpdesk. Epic result for Rick, Kerry and the team!
