Accelerating into the future

It was a delight to host the 5^th IA Academy Accelerator Program recently held here in Aotearoa for the first time.

The three-day intensive training gives principals and emerging leaders the tools to run their businesses and plan for the future. Topics include strategic planning, personality profiling, marketing and sales conversations – and time out to reflect, connect with others and grow personally.  

Usually held in Australia (and after a Covid-enforced hiatus of three years) it was awesome to have the programme back up and running with 15 Australian participants joining the 13 from NZ. 

As IA Australia and NZ managing director Shaun Standfield put it: ‘One of the most pleasing aspects of this program is the opportunity for our advisers to spend time working on their businesses and strengthening relationships across our network.”

The training has been an outstanding success over the years, with participants developing practical skills that they’ve been able to easily apply to themselves and their business.

Huge shout out to fabulous hosts Marni Dittman, Shaun Standfield, Saxon Lyne, Sophie Beer, Andrew Mitchell and Emily Byrd-Andrews – you all rocked.
