Radio Lollipop is an international charity run by volunteers, providing care and comfort, play and entertainment services in the wards of children’s hospitals throughout New Zealand, Australia, USA and the UK. 

Like many not-for-profit organisations, fundraising has been difficult through Covid. Donations make a huge difference to the wellbeing and recovery of thousands of children sick in hospital– places including Auckland Children’s Hospital, Kidz First at Middlemore, Manukau Superclinic, and Waitakere, Whangarei and Christchurch Hospitals. 

Radio Lollipop’s services bring so many benefits to sick kids. Parents can grab a coffee or make a phone call knowing a friendly minder is with their child reading a story or playing a game. Their musical therapy and play programmes lower the use of screen time for children during lengthy stays in hospital, and the stimulation with other children is so beneficial when they miss out on being at school.

We at IANZ and our broker network are thrilled to be able to support Radio Lollipop with a $1,000 donation.

Together we are ensuring Radio Lollipop can continue its work in bringing fun, smiles and laughter to children at a time when they need it most.
