A big welcome to Matthew Stent of Matt Stent Insurance, who has joined the IANZ insurance network. 

Strong relationships and clear client communications is key to Matt’s new business – and being based in Hawke’s Bay, he’s had the opportunity to really put that into action this year of the back of Cyclone Gabrielle. 

“Being able to visit all of my clients personally whether it was advice regarding the next steps with insurance or physical help cleaning out at their properties meant I was there when they needed their insurance the most,’ he says. 

“I was their adviser but was also there to be able to listen and help them through such a tough time.”

Matt’s vision for the business is to become a respected brokerage within the region, built through solid client relationships and trust. 

“I think I can add value to clients by gaining a keen understanding of their businesses and getting out there on-site as lots of risks are missed if they aren't sighted and discussed. 

“I hope to become a reputable business that sees continued growth in years to come.”
