Passwords are inherently weak. Despite our best efforts, the vast majority of people re-use passwords across their services and very few people take advantage of password managers. It wasn’t long ago that the industry flipped on the advice that passwords should change regularly.

They found that the more people changed their passwords, the weaker they became. It was actually more secure picking one unique, complex password and sticking with it. Bearing that in mind, the removal of passwords altogether – one day- will make it much harder for cyber criminals to get into people’s digital worlds.
